The Batten Chardonnay – 2016
A richly textured wine from full malolactic fermentation, nicely balanced by natural acidity. Only the best grapes from low yielding vines are selected, with free run juice run directly into French oak barrels for fermentation by wild and cultured yeasts. Roasted peach and caramel aromas combine with flavours of toasted grains and sweet spice.
